Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in May 2021 and begin Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that her renewed fascination with politics to her experiences being a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries. Furthermore, she was a witness to the US presidency election in 2008 while working in Jordan. She was able to see the impact it had on the citizens of her home country and gained an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congress District for Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
