Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August 1965, is an American actress. Her role as the main character on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick earned the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The series ended on August 13th, 2012 following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received nominations for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who worked as an therapist for speech and family, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV who was a venture capitalist. She was born in New York City.
